Director of Media & Public Relations
Tajudeen Kareem currently serves as the Fatherland Global Corporation’s Director of Media and Public Relations. Having graduated from the University of Nigeria, in Nsukka, in 1983, he is now a highly talented, multi-faceted Communications Strategist with over three decades of experience in Mass Communication. The assignment includes Public and Press Relations, Advertising, Media Management, and Public Policy Analysis.
Kareem once held the post of General Manager of Kwara Television Service, Nigeria. Further, he served as Chief Press Secretary to the Kwara State Governor. As the Governor’s Chief Image Strategist, he managed all Public and Media Relations to transfer the State Government Account from the Trade Bank to Societe Generale.
As Personal Assistant to the Minister of State for Communications, Kareem was part of the team that made history by kick-starting the Global System for Mobile Communications in Nigeria. Moreover, during his career, he has acted as a Senior Consultant with Supreme Management Training and Consultancy Services in Ibadan, Nigeria, and as Head of the Foreign and Diplomatic Desk and Oyo State Bureau for The Guardian Newspapers.
