Dr. Argrow Kit Evans-Ford

Dr. Argrow Kit Evans-Ford is an exceptionally motivated professional with 15 years of combined experience in educational and non-profit settings. Moreover, she holds an impressive track record in high-level Intercultural Experience spanning the U.S., Europe, Japan, South Africa, Kenya, Tanzania, and the Caribbean.

Evans-Ford holds a B.A. in Communications Studies and African/Afro-American Studies from the University of North Carolina; an M.A. in Teaching (Special Education); an M.A. in Social Justice and Community Development; and an MDiv degree, and a Doctor of Ministry Degree in Spiritual Direction, from the Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary in Evanston, IL.

Professor Kit has been in the educational sector since 2004. She is an in-demand teacher for American and United States Peace Corps Alumni. Her dissertation was Women’s Studies, Violence Prevention, Economic Equity, and Social Enterprise. Her findings have been acknowledged as a significant contribution to women who need healing from the trauma of sexual violence. She has presented papers at major conferences and symposiums across the U.S. and is an Adjunct Professor at Ambrose University.

She is also the founder of Argrow’s House of Healing and Hope in Davenport. – This highly successful social enterprise supports women who have or are currently experiencing violence and abuse. She has won numerous awards for her contributions to Improving Humanity. She has been recognized by various organizations, including the ‘Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Award for Outstanding Public Service Benefiting Local Communities.’
